Motorcycle Tunes MT-500USB Amplifier can be used with almost any portable audio
device.
Designed to be used with any portable

o Satellite Radios (an in-line volume control is required when using satellite
radios, because most don't have a built in volume control)

Can ANY
portable audio device be used with the MT-500USB?
Our MT-500USB Amplifier will work with 99.9% of all devices, from iPod, iPhone,
MP3, Portable CD Player, Walkman, Satellite Radio, ect.

Can the MT-500USB Amplfier be used to boost the output of a car stereo type
radio?
No. Our amplifier is designed to be used with portable audio devices, not with
car stereo type radios. We do not offer support to those who want to use the
amplifier outside of it's intended purpose.

Where do I
install the MT-500USB Amplifier be installed?
With it's small dimensions of
(1.5” x 2.5”
x 4”), our amplifier is tiny enough to be mounted almost
anywhere. Amplifier stays cool to the touch, and does not require much air flow.

Can
the MT-500USB Amplifier be connected directly to the battery?
You can either wire our amplifier a switch and fused 12-volt power source on your
bike. You can wire them directly to the battery, but you would want to put a
toggle switch in there, so you could turn them off, but remember that if you
forget to turn them off it will drain your battery.
Most customers tie into the headlight wire, or to the fuse box, so that it turns
on/off with the key.
If you don't know where or how to install the system, you may want to consult a
friend or take your bike and the speaker system to a local motorcycle dealer or
car audio store and they should be able to do the installation for you.

Can
I charge my Personal Audio Device off my bike, or the USB Charger?
Yes.
You will want to also purchase a
Ground Loop Isolator , this will eliminate any noise (ground loops) between
the amplifier and your device.

Will I need a Noise Filter to remove interference from the engine?
Most Motorcycle Tunes speakers ship with a noise filter. The noise filter,
removes distortion that is caused from engine interference.
If you are using a car stereo type setup, then you will not need a noise filer,
because the car stereo usually already has one built into the stereo.

Noise Filter installed, but I still hear a humming noise and lower volume from
the speakers, what now?
A weak or bad ground can cause a humming noise. You will need to check ground on
the amplifier, and if the problem continues, you may need to move the ground to
a different point on the bike. Take a wire and jump the negative battery
terminal on the bike to the ground on the amplifier. If you get louder volume in
doing so, then you will need to get a better ground for the system. 99% of all
noise enters through the ground, so if you have noise, always start with the
ground, try moving it around on the bike.

Will the
MT-500USB Amplifier power two sets of speakers?
Yes. There are several ways of doing this.
Each amplifier you add to your bike, will draw 5 amps
One amplifier can be used to power four speakers, or you can add two amplifiers
to your bike so that each amp will power two speakers. You will need two of our
RCA splitters. You will also need to purchase (2) of Product 255-025

Is
the MT-500USB Amplifier Waterproof?
Our amplifier is water-resistant, but it is not water-proof. The amplifier can
tolerate a water splash, but it cannot be submerged.

What is the Warranty on
the MT500 Amplifier?
Our MT-500USB Amplifier has a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
HOW TO START THE REPAIR PROCESS.
You must
use the below link and email us, stating the problem that you are having, and we
will reply with instructions and a a Repair Authorization (RA#). We will not
accept ANY returns unless they are plainly marked with the RA# on the outside of
the box.
When you email us, include the following in the
body of the email.
o Your Full name and shipping address
o Name or describe the item that is defective
o Describe what is wrong with the item
o Did you do any testing to determine where or what the problem is?

Whether a fee is charged or not for the repair/replacement is determined
by the date that the original order was shipped on.
Less Than 30 Days since the original order ship date:
The amplifier is determined to be of defect under the guidelines of this warranty,
and it is within 30 days of the original order ship date, Motorcycle Tunes
will repair or replace the item for you. Only 1 free
amplifier replacement per customer.
31 Days or More since the original order ship date:
It it is 31 days or more past the original order ship date then we
can still repair or replace the covered item for you at a discounted price. The warranty is only valid
to the original purchaser, and original address. Any items that need to be
replaced will incur the discounted cost of item/s replacement. We will contact you
regarding any additional fees, if there are any before we complete the repair on
your order. Replacement

If the product is believed by Motorcycle Tunes
to have been installed incorrectly,
altered, abused, mishandled, packaged or shipped incorrectly by the customer, the item
will NOT qualify for exchange.
Motorcycle Tunes
holds
the rights to deny a refund, repair or exchange if we believe the above to be
true.
Customer is
responsible paying all shipping charges, and any replacement part fee's.
Motorcycle Tunes will not ship any replacement item, without first receiving
the defective item back at our warehouse, unless the replacement item is
purchased by
