exposure.
Be sure to email us some pictures of your installation, and we will add them to

You will need the below tools:
O
5/32 Allen Wrench
O
Electrical Tape / Shrink Wrap
O
Wire Cutters
It is
best to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery on your bike, before
you begin.
1.
Mounting the Speaker Clamps:
Get an idea where you want to mount the speakers. Mount the clamps to your bars.
They will tighten up when the speakers are installed.
Important:
Make sure the speakers will not interfere with your steering, or gauges.
2.
Mounting the Speakers:
Mount each speaker to the clamp and make sure they are secured, but do not apply
too much torque to the nut.
The
bottom mounting bolt is chromed stainless steel. The treads on this bolt can be
stripped easily if the nut tightened too much, or if the nut is not perfectly
aligned before tightening..
Run the speaker wires
down to where you are going to mount the amplifier.
3.
Amplifier Mounting and hookup: Find a place where you want to mount the
amplifier. The Amplifier is Waterproof, and can be mounted to the frame of your
motorcycle, under the seat, or just about any other place that is out of the way
and not in direct heat from your exhaust.
The Amplifier has two power wires
RED and BLACK.
The
RED wire is the (HOT)
wire. You will need to hook it to
a fused power supply. Some common power supplies are, fuse box (most bikes have
an accessory spot), and the headlight wire. The power supply for the amplifier
needs to turn on and off with the key or with a toggle.
The
BLACK wire is the ground wire. Take
the
(ground)
wire
and run it to either your frame, or the negative battery terminal.
We
recommend that the amplifier turns off with the key, to prevent a dead battery.
4.
Speaker Plug Hook Up:
Make sure the power supply to the amplifier is turned OFF. The Amplifier has 4
speaker output wires. Two wires go to the left speaker, and the other two wires
go to the right speaker. The White (+) and White with Black (-) stripe
go to the left speaker and the Grey( +)
and Grey with Black (-) strip wires go the right speaker. The wires on
the speakers are either a solid color or a color with a stripe.
Solid Color = Positive speaker wire
Color with a Black Stripe = Negative speaker wire.
You will need to hook the speaker outputs from the amplifier to the
corresponding chrome speaker wire.
5.
Volume
Control:
You can control the volume, with the volume control on your device, or by using
one of our optional in-line volume controls. If you have one of our in-line
volume controls, you can mount it to your handlebars using black cable ties, or
if you have our Chrome handlebar volume control you can bolt it to your
handlebars.
7.
Amplifier Input Plug:
This amplifier has a built in audio input cable with a standard 3.5mm jack.
Simply plug this into the headphone jack or audio output jack of your portable
audio device. If you purchased an in-line volume control along with your order,
then you would plug this into the in-line volume control, and then your in-line
volume control would plug into your device.
Make
sure that all wires are away from hot areas, and that everything is secured to
your bike.
Before your turn on the power, make sure that your devices volume is turned
down. You can damage your speakers/amplifier if your device is at full or loud
volume when the amp is turned on. You will always want to start off with a low
volume and build up to a louder volume. This will prolong the life of your
speakers/amplifier.
Everything should now be hooked up correctly. You can now use the speakers.
When you first listen to your device, you will need to adjust the Level on the
amplifier to where the audio sounds best.
